The standard

Five rules every program follows

The same rules apply to every trainee, in every school.

How we train, in full
  1. 01

    Foundations first

Every trainee starts with North American business operations, professional communication, security and safe AI use.

  2. 02

    AI with privacy rules

Client and personal details never go into an AI prompt, and every final includes a log of what AI did and what was checked.

  3. 03

    Graded finals

A realistic case graded by a trainer against a written rubric. Critical mistakes fail it, whatever the score.

  4. 04

    Outside review

Programs are signed off before they open, by a CPA, lawyer or licensed practitioner where the work calls for one, and again every year.

  5. 05

    Verifiable credentials

Every credential has an ID anyone can check. It's valid for 12 months and renewed with a yearly update.

Schools and programs

The Foundation Year, then one of six schools

Every assistant starts in the Foundation Year, then joins a program in one of our schools. 2 programs are open now and 13 more open on October 7, with 3 more soon after.

Secure a shift and respond to a suspected compromise

68 minutesText response

During a remote shift, you receive a vendor bank-change email, a surprise MFA prompt, and an owner-style gift-card message. You later realize you entered your password on a lookalike sign-in page. A customer export is also stored in an unapproved personal folder.

  2. 2Incident report
  3. 3Evidence and do-not-do list
  4. 4Containment-support plan

Which request belongs in stop-and-escalate?

  • Rename three approved files
  • Add an agenda to a scheduled meeting
  • Send a one-time code to a caller who claims to be the owner
  • Update a task after the reviewer approves it

Why: Credential and one-time-code requests are high-risk and require trusted-channel verification and escalation.

Wire fraud and security

Suspicious email handled correctly and escalated by phone; data kept in Dotloop.

Weight 2 of 12
  1. 0 to 2The trainee sends or confirms wiring or bank details (critical failure), replies to the suspicious email, or doesn't warn the buyer.
  2. 3 to 5No details confirmed, but the escalation is by email or Slack only, is slow, or the suspicious email is forwarded around.
  3. 6 to 8The buyer is told in the existing thread not to send money or reply. Morgan and title are called by phone on numbers already in the file, the broker is told, nothing in the email is clicked or forwarded, and client documents stay in Dotloop with no IDs or account numbers in email, Slack or AI.
  4. 9 to 10All of the 6 to 8 standard, plus the write-up names the specific red flags and gives the time of each action.

Automatic fail: Sending, forwarding or confirming wiring instructions or bank details.

Final Assessment: One purchase file, offer to close · Real Estate

Questions

What people ask us

Something else? Email training@keyplayershq.com.

Does it cost anything?+

No. Training is free for KeyPlayers candidates and team members.

Who can join?+

KeyPlayers candidates who have passed screening, and people already working with KeyPlayers. Apply to KeyPlayers first.

How is my work graded?+

Quizzes are marked automatically. Final assessments are graded by a KeyPlayers trainer against a written rubric; AI may prepare a first draft of the scores, and the trainer decides every result.

Can I use AI tools?+

Yes, the way the courses teach: you log where you used them and what you checked, and client or personal data never goes into an AI tool.

What if I don't pass a final?+

You get written feedback and a second attempt. If you think a result is wrong, you can ask for a review by a different trainer.

How does a client check a credential?+

Every credential has an ID. Anyone can enter it on the verification page to see whether it's genuine and current.

How long does a credential last?+

12 months. After that the verification page shows it as expired until it's renewed, so a client always sees whether it's current.

Who reviews the programs?+

The Training Manager reviews every program's content. Programs that touch tax and payroll also need a CPA's sign-off, and industry programs need a licensed or senior practitioner.
