For businesses
How we train the assistant you hire.
KeyPlayers assistants train at KeyPlayers Academy. Here's exactly what that involves, how their work is graded and how you can check their credential yourself.
- Foundations first
- AI with privacy rules
- Graded simulations
- Outside professional review
- Credentials you can check
- Kept current
IThe standard
Six things every KeyPlayers assistant goes through
Foundations first
North American business operations, communication, security and safe AI use, before any role or industry program.
AI with privacy rules
Taught to use AI tools well, check what they produce and keep your data out of them.
Graded simulations
A realistic case graded against a written rubric, with automatic fails for critical mistakes.
Outside professional review
Programs are signed off by the right professional, such as a CPA for tax and payroll content.
Credentials you can check
Every credential has an ID you can verify yourself on our public verification page.
Kept current
Credentials are valid for 12 months, and programs are reviewed again every year.
IIFoundations

IIIAI, taught properly
Faster with AI, and careful with your data
Assistants learn to use AI tools for real work. They also learn the rules that keep your business and your customers safe while they do it.
- Client and personal details never go into an AI prompt. Assistants learn what to remove before they ask.
- Everything an AI tool produces gets checked against the real records before it reaches you.
- Program finals include an AI log: where AI was used, what was left out of the prompt and what was checked.
- In most finals, putting client or customer details into an AI tool fails the assessment, whatever the score.
IVAssessment
Graded like the real job
Role and industry programs end in a simulation or practical: a realistic stretch of work at a realistic business, done the way you'd expect it done.
How a final is graded
- 1Each final is built from a case pack: the inbox, records, policies and requests a real client would hand over.
- 2A KeyPlayers trainer grades the work against a written rubric, criterion by criterion, with a set pass mark.
- 3AI may prepare first-draft scores, each backed by exact quotes from the work, and only the work is sent: no name or personal details. The trainer decides every result.
- 4Trainees get written feedback and a second attempt. An appeal goes to a different trainer.
- 5Submissions that are nearly identical to another trainee's are flagged for a trainer to review.
Some mistakes fail a final no matter how good the rest of the work is. Examples from our finals:
- Acting on a bank-detail or payment-change request
- Sending or confirming wiring instructions
- Promising a price, refund or credit outside their authority
- Contacting a lead who has opted out
- Putting client or customer data into an AI tool
VOutside review
Checked by the people who'd know
Before a program opens to trainees, every review it needs must be signed off. Each sign-off records exactly which version of the content was reviewed and lasts 12 months, so programs are reviewed every year.
- Content reviewTraining Manager
- Tax and payroll accuracyCPA
- Industry reviewLicensed or senior practitioner
- Legal and complianceLawyer
Every program needs the content review. Tax and payroll, industry and legal reviews are added where a program's content calls for them.
VI · Verification
Check any credential yourself
Every credential carries an ID. Enter it on the verification page to see the credential, the program, the holder and the dates, and whether it's current.
Verify a credential- Valid
Genuine and current.
- Expired
Genuine, but past its 12 months and not yet renewed.
- Suspended
Not valid at the moment.
- Revoked
Withdrawn by KeyPlayers.
VIIWhat this means for you
An assistant who's ready for your business
The basics already covered
Foundations covers how North American businesses run their inbox, calendar, files and follow-up.
Clear lines on authority
Trained and graded on what's theirs to decide and what comes to you, with the facts attached.
AI speed without the data risk
They use AI to move faster, and they know that putting client data into it fails a final.
Alert to fraud
Suspicious payment and banking requests are built into the finals, and acting on one fails.
Proof you can check
Ask for their credential ID and check it yourself, any time, at no cost.
